The Kentucky Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation coordinates with 15 other State Chapters under the Leadership Organization of The American Chestnut Foundation that is headquartered in Asheville, NC.   

The Kentucky Chapter has been completing Action Events since 2001 to contribute to the national efforts to develop a blight resistant American Chestnut that can be replanted back into its native Appalachian Forests.
